Trinity-Tide-Apprentices

Maintenance Volunteering

This involves working alongside our Boson to maintain our fleet of boats and the upkeep of the Centre facilities. Tasks could vary from light sanding to deep cleaning. This volunteer opportunity is from Monday – Thursdays.

Coxswain Volunteering

This is an on-water volunteer opportunity to guide and steer our Thames Waterman Cutter Rowing boats. In house training will be provided for this opportunity however we do then ask for a minimum commitment of 3 rowing events a year. This opportunity is available on weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.

AHOY Food Spread Volunteers

AHOY Wednesday Lunch

Our Wednesday lunches bring staff, volunteers and beneficiaries together to enjoy a home-cooked meal. You will assist our staff in preparing, serving the lunch and clearing away.  Wednesdays from 10:00 to 14:00.

Saturday Reception

Assisting our Saturday team with our youth volunteers, “Shipmates”. Manning our reception area & phone, completing admin tasks and supporting our instructors and youth workers. Saturdays from 09:00 to 16:00.

Youth Volunteering

Shipmates are our Youth Volunteers. You’ll have the opportunity to help us run the Centre, develop new skills, make new friends and further your education. Our Shipmate programme is aimed at young people aged 8 to 18 years – both able bodied and disabled. Find more information on our Shipmates page.
