Sam Harris takes on the Great River Race Walk

This weekend sees the return of The Great River Race where over 300 rowing vessels will take to the Thames to complete the 23 mile route from London Docklands to Ham, Surrey.

We have 9 boats taking on this annual challenge in support of our charity – helping to raise vital funds for our activities.

Sam Harris, part of our weekly RYA Sailability and a respected AHOY ambassador will be walking over 15 miles along the riverside following the route of the Great River Race. Starting at Millwall Dock and finishing at Ham House in Richmond.

Sam has set himself a target to raise – of which all funds received will be allocated to our popular Sailability programme.

Any support you can add to Sams challenge will be very much appreciated by both us here at AHOY and Sam himself. Donations can be made here.
