Apprentices Receive Recognition

14 months ago Rupert and Sam joined us at the start of their AHOY Activity Leadership apprenticeship.

Our apprenticeship provides the opportunity for 16 – 18 year olds to build self-esteem, confidence and offer training vital to finding employment. During the programme, students work their way through the syllabus to gain a level 2 NVQ in Activity Leadership, NCFE Certificate in Outdoor Activity and gain National Governing Body awards in Sailing, Rowing and Powerboating.

We are delighted to announce that both Rupert and Sam have successfully completed their apprenticeship and have passed all the exams and qualifications.

Clive Ongley, our founder and CEO presented both with a small gift to recognise their achievements.

Both Rupert and Sam remain with The AHOY as Assistant Instructors and continue to work towards further qualifications.
