The AHOY Centre's Riverside Function Room, located at the border of Greenwich and Deptford, has a magnificent location directly fronting the River Thames with views across to Canary Wharf with access by both water and land.
The Sir William Boreman Function Room (14m x 10m) is a blank canvas space allowing you to decorate the room to suit your own taste. It commands uninterrupted views of the River Thames and the surrounding London skyline and opens up to a 16m riverside balcony.
Access to the room can be made via the inside stairs, outside balcony stairs, or our wheelchair accessible lift.
Our large fully fitted kitchen is supplied with an industrial sized oven, stove-top, food warmer, hot-water dispenser, fridge/freezer as well as a toaster and microwave oven. This allows you the option to personally cater your event, or use a caterer of your choice.
The space can be dressed to suit any occasion and is perfect for weddings, birthdays and corporate events. The room is so versatile that it can comfortably seat up to 100 guests for a formal meal or 120 standing guests for parties or receptions, but is also perfect for an intimate gathering for 20.
Included in the room hire rates are use of the Sir William Boreman Function Room, new and handsome tables and chairs, kitchen, gorgeous river view balcony and toilet (disabled toilet facilities available) and shower facilities.
We also provide flexible bar packages and friendly bar staff who will take care of you and your guests and we encourage you to choose the wine, beer and spirits which you and your guests will most enjoy.
